Tea gone bad!

This is something that is just getting out of control. The Tea partiers are attacking Ron Paul. RON PAUL! He started the movement back in 07'! It's been hijacked by a group of people mad at the world that they are asking for congress to bring back literacy tests? Really? Is that what we are doing now? We are going back to seeing if your SMART enough to vote or not? This is something that is just unpopular and downright stupid! If TEA partiers have this stance on this issue then why don't Democrats pass a similar law that says all people who have ever had a racist thought can't vote either. This should cancel the TEA partiers law and put us back to square one!

Our last show got a great response. We appreciate all of you who checked us out. Tonight we talked about Palin's new job with Fox news and how the public will get a good look as to if she should be involved the 2012 election. It's pretty much a safe bet that she will run but the question remains of how she would do if and when she entered into the race. We also spoke of Alan Mulally who is Ford Motor Companies CEO was named Automobile's 2010 Man of the Year. Mulally was brought in from Boeing and is the grandfather of the 737 (As in he designed it!). He was bought in and right away he started making a difference. He mortgaged all of the assets Ford had to offer, even the blue oval itself. That effort brought them 23.5 BILLION dollars which made them able to weather the recession storm of 2008. He then insisted that the Taurus be brought back, the Taurus was the highest and best selling car for years. Designs will be coming in from Europe and Mulally believes that Ford will not be fully into the "black" until 2011. We also talked about the Tonight show drama and agreed that Conan O'Brien would come to Fox and then Jay Leno would go back to the Tonight Show at the 11:35 timeslot. We also talked sports as well and made picks for this weekends NFL playoffs.

People often have questions about city government and why things are done the way they are done and why. Well here at BrandonRutherford.com we will soon be working to put some of those questions to rest. We will be interviewing some local politicians about why they vote the way that they do and what they are working towards when they spend our tax dollars. This won't be any old blog website this will be interactive as well as very informative. I will talk with members of all parties as well as people on the street. Northeast Ohio has been rocked by people who have broken voters trust as well as tried to break their pocket books. My goal with this new direction is to assist you in knowing what your elected officials are working to do for you and what you can expect from them while they are in office.
